There are many Scout cachets that are known applied only to the backs of covers. Where the front also
bears a different but known cachet, the Levy # is referenced. Some covers are cacheted front as well as
back, but only the backs have a Scouting reference. Finally, some labels are used as seals on the back of
covers that bear no cachet on the front.

Ex Walter Grob. Grob's "World Scouting" was a 1900 - 1945 chronological 123 page cover collection
with the likes of a letter from "Scouts Camp, Brownsea Island, Poole", dated 4 Aug. 07, in Baden-Powell's
own hand, as well as thirteen 1944 Warsaw sewer covers. A central theme was Scout labels on cover.
60 to 100 years ago, advertising stamps, poster stamps & labels were a more important part of philately.
